- I will wish you health and happiness, but will not follow this blog. I lost a baby to a miscarriage and was not able to get pregnant again, and have no other children. Still hurts too much.

- Joyce, you are lucky. I fed my dogs chicken jerky treats purchased at Costco. After a while, one of my dogs developed kidney problems and we eventually had to put her to sleep. The vet said it could have been from the jerky as there had been much discussion amongst the local vets in the area.

- Cut down on the sodium by asking for your fries with no salt added. Even though I rarely eat fries, all restaurants I've been to are more that happy to comply.

- Thank you for this article. One of my cats (19 yo) died last night and even though I knew her days were limited, it was sad finding her gone. I have gone through your emotions more often than I can count, and like you have moved on and adopted from shelters.

- Diamond Brand foods I think are questionable. I was in a pinch and bought a bag of Diamond cat food and put it out for the outdoor cats. They wouldn't eat it. Even the raccoons wouldn't eat it.

- So heartwarming to read good news for once. I have six rescue dogs (yes, I'm a sucker) and hug each one several times a day. I may have been able to give them a forever home, but they give me unconditional love and happiness every minute of my life.
